Assuming its status as an agribusiness and concerned about quality and rational development, the Cooperative initiated a quality and certification process in 1997. It has put in place internal specifications to ensure the consistent quality of products delivered, under optimal hygiene and safety conditions. As a result, the Cooperative is certified IFS (International Food Standard) version 6 upper level: certification thapermits sales to a wide and varied customer network.
The ISO 9001 standard and the HACCP system (hygiene and traceability in the food and catering industry) guarantee the traceability and hygiene of our products, 100% natural and authentic.
TRACEABILITY
The Cooperative guarantees traceability at all levels of processing and packaging. Rigorous quality tests are established at each stage. Granulometry (size) and Chromametry (color) are regularly tested.
Coarse Salt : stored in silos each with vintage years of production. Each silo is protected by a tarpaulin approved for food contact.
Fleur de sel : stored in food-approved plastic containers known as ‘palox’. Each palox has an identification number linked to the year of production and origin of the producer.
