Our salts are 100% sea salt from Ile de Ré. Sea salt is obtained by natural evaporation of sea water under the action of wind, sun and heat. The salt workers of the Île de Ré cooperative manually harvest the crystals from the clayey bottoms of their salt marshes. At the end of the season, the salt is transported to the cooperative during haulage to the cooperative and is stored in a covered silo outside. The salt is non-ionized and does not undergo any treatment or addition (GMO, allergen).
